A super fresh kale and walnut vegan pesto that's bursting with flavour and ready in less than 5 minutes. Serve with your favourite pasta!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup walnut halves
  • 3/4 packed cup kale leaves hard stems removed
  • 1/4 packed cup basil
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Add to a blender the walnuts, kale, basil, garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, olive oil, salt and pepper and blend until smooth
