This white wine spritz is the perfect summer drink
A spritz and summer go hand in hand like strawberries and cream. There couldn’t be a more perfect match! We got very into making white wine spritz last summer. They’re great for when you want a little alcoholic drink, but something very light and fresh. They can be enjoyed on their own as a post-work drink, or with dinner later in the evening. They could even be drunk at lunchtime as the alcohol content is so low. We like to add in some mint and strawberries for some extra flavour, but you could definitely make them with just the wine, tonic and soda and it would still be delicious. Sometimes we also just have it with some lemon or lime as another simple option.
A quick and easy recipe
This 3 ingredient recipe could not be any simpler. We love making cocktails at home, but they can often be complex, requiring simple syrups or niche spirits. This recipe can be made using cheap and readily available ingredients. Just make sure you check the labels when buying your white wine to make sure it’s vegan friendly. Or check Barnivore where most alcoholic drinks are listed.
