A simple avocado dressing to freshen up any salad.
This easy vegan avocado dressing is the perfect addition to your salads. It’s only got 4 ingredients in and is super easy to make. The avocado makes this dressing lovely and creamy, whilst the lime juice gives it a citrusy edge. The water is used the thin out the avocado, then it’s just a pinch of salt to season. We add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, and you have a delicious dressing ready in a matter of minutes! The dressing has a gorgeous green colour to it, which really brightens up a dish. We enjoy having this drizzled over tacos, nachos and fajitas, as well as salads.
This vegan dressing was inspired by a trip to Mexico City.
On our last day in Mexico City, we visited a famous vegan street food taco stand called Por Siempre Vegana Taqueria. The tacos we got were incredible! One of the tacos had a delicious creamy avocado sauce drizzled all over it. We knew we had to recreate it at home, and we’ve been making this version over the last 2 years ever since we came back from our trip! Why not try this with our Vegan Al Pastor Style Tacos or our Baja Vegan ‘Fish’ Tacos?
