A super creamy easy vegan dip recipe

Last week, we shared a vegan recipe for some delicious spicy sweet potato wedges. We paired them with a super easy creamy vegan dip, made using dairy-free yoghurt and tahini. It’s become one of our all-time favourite vegan dip recipes. This recipe shows you exactly how to make it! It goes so well with the sweet potato wedges, but it would also work as a dip with many other things. Try it with raw carrot and cucumber sticks, pitta bread, fries, or crisps. You could also add a touch more water to it and use it as a tasty vegan dressing on salads!

This is a quick and easy vegan recipe

This recipe only has 7 ingredients and one step to it. You pop all the ingredients into a bowl, stir together, and it’s ready to eat! We love easy vegan recipes like this. You can make it up in advance and store it in the fridge for when you need it! The tahini gives the dip a delicious nuttiness, whilst the yoghurt helps to balance the sesame flavour, whilst adding a lovely creamy texture to it. We’ve used agave syrup to sweeten it, and some lemon juice to offset the sweetness. It’s got salt, sweetness, and tang to it, making it the perfect vegan dip recipe to have with your favourite snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp dairy-free yoghurt alpro plain
  • 1 garlic clove grated
  • 1/4 juice of a lemon
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Method

  • Add the tahini, dairy-free yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice, agave syrup, salt and pepper to a small bowl, stir, then serve with these delicious spicy sweet potato wedges.
